The Northwest Texas Business and Industry Data Center (NWTBIDC) is a service provided by the Northwest Texas Small Business Development Center (NWTSBDC) in conjunction with Texas Tech University, The State of Texas, and the Federal government. The NWTBIDC provides a variety of services to counselors in the NWTSBDC network.
The NWTBIDC specializes in demographics, business statistics, and market research in order to compliment the services provided by NWTSBDC counselors.
The BIDC can provide the following list of services
- Demographic information including Census 2010 data and current population information
- Market research information
- Business related statistics
- Independent research projects
- Access to the SBDC National Information Clearing House
- Geographic Information System (GIS) Capabilities for mapping and graphical representation of data
