The NWTSBDC has a variety of services designed to help you-the business owner meet the demands of owning and operating a successful business. Our staff of professional counselors provides one-on-one counseling to existing businesses interested in achieving growth and profitability. Counseling is offered at no cost to you and can provide guidance in various areas on such issues as employee relations, marketing, contracting, patents, financial management, and goal setting. Our counselors will assist you with identifying sources of funding for business expansion and help you complete documentation for various state and federal certifications. Your local SBDC also offers a variety of workshops and training programs designed to provide you with additional expertise and the confidence to succeed.

 With the help of one of the NWTSBDC Specialized Assistance Programs  small businesses can gain access to a number of programs designed to give the tools needed to compete locally, nationally or globally.

PAC, Procurement Assistance Center, providing training and technical assistance to area businesses interested in contracting with federal, state, and local governments.

TMAC, Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center, helping to increase the global competitiveness of Texas’ 20,000 small manufacturers by providing assistance in the appropriate use of technologies and techniques.

NWTBIDC, Business Industry Data Center, provides a variety of services to counselors in the NWTSBDC network. The NWTBIDC focuses on demographic and business statistics and market research in order to compliment the services provided by the counselors in the NWTSBDC network.

Business Resource Libraries
  Visit your local SBDC and browse through the many educational references available in our Resource Library. In many instances, spending time in an informative resource such as this can answer your questions and allow you to move forward with your business venture. Our library is stocked with the information and resources you need to help you with your new or existing business. Clients are free to come in and browse anytime during our office hours, or use our computers to do online research. Each SBDC library contains books, journals and electronic media on a variety of topics including: loans, franchising, startup, marketing, management, statistical data, Strategic planning, business planning, and more.
